Mimi teaches across a broad range of disciplines as a freelance educator in Adelaide. Every class is built around what the dancers in front of her actually need. The content changes because the dancers change.
Approach
Most dance studios follow a fixed syllabus. That syllabus decides what gets taught, when and at what pace. It does not change based on who is in the room.
Mimi does not teach that way. Every class is built around what the dancers in front of her actually need that day. Some days that means drilling the basics. Some days it means pushing further than expected.
The result is progress that is visible. Not in six months. In the lesson itself.
Ballet here is not just about learning steps. It is about learning to focus, to work hard and to perform under pressure. These are skills that stay with a dancer long after they leave the studio.

What students say
"Miss Mimi is an exceptional ballet teacher. In just two lessons, I was able to complete the full choreography for my solo, the fastest I have ever progressed. What stands out most is her attention to detail. She clearly explains how to use each muscle, maintain balance and refine technique, and she demonstrates everything herself with precision and grace."
"Mimi is an accommodating and generous teacher in helping you to learn musicality and techniques. She can be your biggest cheerleader when you need it."
"Mimi was not only warm in her welcoming nature but also spent time explaining and demonstrating the art of ballet to a complete newbie. She paved the way for me to gain the confidence and skills to perform for companies all over Australia."
"Mimi's full of knowledge and explains corrections in the exact way you need them. I feel a massive improvement every time I dance with her. She creates a pressure-free space and simultaneously pushes her students to their best."
